Frederick Baffour Opoku has over 15 years reporting experience in print and online journalism. He Began his journalism career with the state owned ‘Ghanaian Times’ daily newspaper reporting on disciplines including science and technology reporting, and being a key reporter of the newspaper for years.

He rose to become Senior Reporter and later Presidential Reporter, Office of the President between 2001 and 2004. Mr. Opoku left the ‘Ghanaian Times’ to pursue other interests.

Opoku is currently the Executive Editor of Global Monitor, an online newspaper dedicated to the publication of science, technology, and research and development news.
