"I feel so empowered just to think that no matter how small, i can bring change and hope to someone who would otherwise be so helpless and voiceless ... my role as a journalist borders on activism. I give a voice and highlight key issues in society that might not get a lot of attention because they are not politics! I see my role also as telling the untold stories and not only creating awareness about them but also opening avenues for possible ways of intervening where need be."
