Description

Victor is originally from South Sudan, but now working as a radio journalist in Nairobi, Kenya. He studied journalism in Tanzania and enjoys writing poetry and short stories.

"I fell in love with books, and in secondary school all I wanted to do in life was to become a writer, to communicate with readers through the written word. But then I was to realize that in Africa writing alone cannot put bread on the table. So I found myself in journalism as an alternative avenue into the world of writing. For me, writing is a liberating force."
